Iowa Land Records image status update

The Electronic Services System committee received a report from the Iowa Land Records project manager on the status of image uploads and availability. There is a graphical report by county here.

The first three pages detail the upload status. The abundant dark blue shows that most counties have been pretty good about sending their images. There are only a few outliers.

Pages four through six show the status of redaction and public release of images. Again, this shows that the project is in pretty good shape for most counties on most records back to 2003. The project is working with individual county recorders on a method of verifying the accuracy of redaction efforts. As each county recorder signs off on his or her records, they can be made available.

Iowa Land Records image status as of May 1, 2012

Here is a graphical update on the status of images on IowaLandRecords.org: May 1 Status Report. The first three pages illustrate upload compliance (generally, blue is good and red is bad). The second three pages illustrate redaction status and public availability (generally, green is good, red is bad, purple and black is “getting there”).
